LIFE PURPOSE WORKSHOP 2008
In only an hour it is possible to engage in the steps of beginning to generate your own life purpose. The goal of this workshop was to acquaint the group with the value of developing a clear purpose and invite participants to go through exercises developing their individual life purposes. People were encouraged to share their personal discoveries in this safe and supportive group.
DIGGING FOR GOLD – An Interactive Workshop 5/27/11
This workshop was designed for a group of staff and administrators in an associate degree institution. The purpose was to establish more effective ways for staff to communicate with students to increase the number of enrollment and placements out in the work force. The interactive part of the workshop was an invitation to become aware of and practice known skills in a new way in communicating with students and each other.
The focus of the all day workshop was on three communication skills, creating trust, active listening, and asking powerful questions.
The workshop was comprised of a series of exercises and role plays practicing the 3 areas of communication. After participating in each scenario, there was open and active sharing, feedback and discussion.
